Does a gallbladder count? I’m blaming the mint Girl Scout cookies on that one.

So glad you followed up on the unusual feeling! Keep taking care! Love your posts.

Not sure my appendix hated me, but I had my spleen removed for a blood disease when I was 13, and at 37 I had to have a total, complete, take-out-every-darn-reproductive-part hysterectomy and when I woke up from the anesthesia, I asked the doc how it went and he said he got everything… and decided to just take the appendix out while he was at it. While I wonder a bit about the “weren’t you supposed to tell me that before you did it?” aspect of this, it just goes to show how truly useless the appy is. And clearly, I’m running out of body parts too!

I am new to your story as of Oct 1 2022... a friend suggested I read your blog. (Connection: Whitworth and Mindy). I am in my 4th year of remission from Stage 3-1A colon cancer that started in my .... appendix. So yeah, it hated me.

Just had a scan last week that showed “numerous pulmonary nodules” in my lungs. I sure hope they aren’t cancer but odds are not in my favor. Thanks for your blog- your perspective is refreshing. And your story has prompted me to get a second opinion on the “let’s wait and see” approach.

Anyway... appendixes (appendices?) can suck it!
