Your book is on my bedside table and is next in line! Please give Connor and Lucy a huge hug from the Fatland family! (And make sure they give you a special squeeze from us too.)

Thank you Amy for sharing your gift for writing the perfect metaphors that made me laugh out loud and brought tears to my eyes at the same time. I brought your brilliant book on our weekend camping trip and I couldn’t put it down. I felt like you were right there with me on the banks of the mountain lake filling me in on all the intimate twists and turns of your life that I have missed since your move from Seattle to Menlo Park. Huge hugs to you, Lucy, and Connor. 💞

I have the book in hand and can’t wait to dive in! I’m so happy to hear you’re enjoying the book tour. It’s such an important story to tell and you are an incredible storyteller. Hope you get back to your couch with Lucy soon. xo

I remember those first few days following your diagnosis, five years ago. I remember sitting with you on my back patio. I was then and still today remain in awe of your strength, courage and love. Words can’t quite express how grateful I am to God for His presence and power in you over the years. You’ve not only defied the odds but you’ve got a book in the bookstore at SFO! Who could have ever imagined that back when we were sitting on my patio? The big hugs and bold prayers persist. Always.

I devoured your book after seeing you at The Kings English in Salt Lake. Powerful. Thank you for sharing. Although my cancer is different, I share uncertainty, live one day at a time in all my hairlessness and look forward to following your blog. I am so sorry that you are hospitalized and hope that you are discharged soon.

Amy, I was checking the Internet to see how you were faring in your last room. I just finished your book and found it very poignant. After experiencing the loss of my youngest daughter in February, I found your insight on Saint Paul’s words to be very reassuring. Thank you.
